text: NOW or NEVER

we live in a time when clarity and reflection are called for so that we can form a worthy future for human beings.

five colours inform my image of human life – that we live today, that our ancestors lived and the future life of our children.

the search by generations through rites, inherited life stories and experiences shapes understanding and movement towards a real life.

through art, we can question that which has hardened and thus combat injustices.

through art we can create new possibilities and places that include all people.

people’s thoughts and efforts founded on art often stand next to God, thoughts that might otherwise not be thought.

this is my story about spirit and material;

about life, love, thoughtfulness, hope, death;

about space, colour, light, darkness;

about material, things;

about intuition.

this is my story of art, crafts and design;

the white, the red, the lilac, the green, the black gaining shape in five rooms;

made visible in wood, metal, salt, stone, sand, textile, colour and plastic;

made visible in used rugs, books, clothing and lamps;

made visible in light, sound, water, trees and tools.
